• All Vendors, including Subcontractors and Suppliers must provide the following documents to BCH Builders LLC prior to any work being completed. We must have copies of these documents before we can move forward with processing any invoices for payment.

  2. Certificate of General Liability Insurance

  3. Certificate of Workers Compensation Insurance​​

Certificates of insurance verifying the existence of both General Liability and Workers Compensation are REQUIRED for any subcontractor working for BCH Builders LLC, including sole proprietors. We will not accept "Exemptions from Workers Compensation" statements in place of proof of Worker Compensation coverage. All subcontractors, including sole proprietors, must provide BCH Builders LLC with a Certificate of Workers Compensation coverage or complete the "14-factor test" under Minnesota statute 181.723, subdivision 4 (previously "9-point test" no longer in effect as of March 1, 2025) to determine if the individual is an independent contractor and not an employee and can be excluded.
